DuckEars is a self-study app built around a simple observation: most people who abandon a textbook don't do so because the material is too hard, but because turning several hundred pages into a workable daily plan is a job in itself. Users upload their own source material and set a deadline; DuckEars generates a curriculum of five-minute lessons with questions that cite the page they came from, then schedules reviews using spaced repetition. It is designed for learners who need structure imposed from outside — students working to a deadline, professionals studying for certification, and people whose executive function makes long unstructured documents especially hard to start.
