We're not hiring — yet

No open roles today, and we'd rather say that plainly than run a permanently open 'general application' form that nobody reads.

Current openings: 0

DuckEars is pre-launch and deliberately tiny. Everything you see — the scheduler, the generation pipeline, this website — is built by a very small team, and we would rather get the product right before we get bigger.

When that changes, the roles below are the ones we expect to open first, roughly in this order.

Full-stack engineer

First hire after launch

TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres. Someone who enjoys the unglamorous half — PDF parsing, queues, and making generation cheap enough to survive.

Learning scientist / curriculum lead

When the scheduler needs a second opinion

Part research, part product. You would own the question of whether our intervals are actually right, and be allowed to prove us wrong.

Founding designer

Once the app has more surface than the marketing site

Product design with real motion chops. The duck has opinions and so should you.

How we’ll work when we do hire

  • Remote-first, with hours that suit your brain rather than a timezone.
  • Paid trial project instead of a whiteboard interview.
  • Salary band published in the advert, no negotiation theatre.
  • You ship to production in your first week.
