  1. The scheduler stops panicking about deadlines

    Interval scheduling now solves backwards from your exam date instead of forwards from today, which is what everyone assumed it already did.

    • ShippedDeadline-aware rescheduling: move your exam and the whole plan recompresses.
    • ImprovedReview batches cap at your daily minute budget rather than dumping 40 cards on a Monday.
    • LearnedTesters skip a day roughly every fourth day. Plans that assume a perfect streak fall apart in week two, so the scheduler now assumes you will miss days.

  2. Questions that cite their source

    Every generated question now carries the page and section it came from, and the explanation quotes it.

    • ShippedPage-level citations on every question and explanation.
    • ImprovedFigure and table extraction — diagrams stop being turned into word salad.
    • FixedTwo-column academic PDFs no longer interleave their columns mid-sentence.

  3. First closed beta build

    Upload a PDF, get a course, answer questions, keep a streak. The whole loop end to end for the first time.

    • ShippedPDF upload, chunking and curriculum generation.
    • ShippedDaily lessons, XP and streaks.
    • ShippedFirst pass at the spaced-repetition scheduler.
    • LearnedNobody finished a 20-minute lesson. Everybody finished a 5-minute one. Default session length is now five minutes.

That’s everything so far. Earlier than this it was a prototype held together with hope. 🦆
